Wellspring
A new format for meditation on God's Word and
growing together in Christian love emerged last September under the
banner of 'Wellspring'. This has its source in Num 21:
16-17 the 'Song of the Well', which the people of Israel sang
to the glory of God and encouragement of one another after they had
'gathered together' and received God's blessing on them- the
gift of living water.
From this 'Song of the Well' we learn how important it is to
God that his people do 'gather together' in His Name to
give, receive, share and encourage, and it is these factors which
are the foundation and objectives of this group.
Since September there have been many enjoyable gatherings where,
through Scripture, Prayer,Music, drama, prose and poetry, we have
reflected on God's Word and its relevance for us today by using
selected topic and thoughts for the week.
